ONE-on-ONE TRAINING

Are you looking for answers to specific questions related to photography? Do you want to learn more about nature photography, but can’t fit a class or workshop into your schedule? If so, then one-on-one training may be for you! I’ll meet with you individually – at my home office in Ellicott City, MD, or by phone - to answer your questions and teach you what you want to know. One-on-one training may cover any of the topics listed below. Please inquire about topics not listed.

  • Composition

  • Basic photographic technique (exposure, metering, controlling depth of field, freezing and blurring motion, etc.)

  • Basic equipment and filters for nature photography

  • Macro equipment and technique

  • Creative/artistic techniques (panning, multiple exposures, montages, etc.)

  • Basic digital image editing

  • Image critiques

  • Matting and framing prints

  • Exhibiting and selling prints (how to find venues, how to apply for exhibits, how to price prints, etc.)

  • Business issues

One-on-one photo shoots/outings may also be arranged.
