PHOTO CRITIQUES
Are your nature photos missing something that you can’t quite put your finger on? Do you want to shoot more unique, more engaging images, but you’re not sure what to do differently? A photo critique may be just what you need to jumpstart your creativity and steer your efforts! Hire me to critique your images and you’ll receive constructive feedback that will reinforce your strengths as a photographer and help you discover what you can do differently to make your next images stronger and more compelling. You’ll learn to evaluate your own images more objectively, both before and after you shoot them. Ultimately, you’ll be better informed and - I hope - inspired to shoot more creative, more evocative images of nature.
When you hire me for a photo critique, I’ll evaluate four images which you may send to me electronically or via US mail. For each image, I’ll consider and comment briefly on each of 4 key photographic elements:
- subject selection
- situation (lighting, setting)
- technique
(correct exposure, depth of field, sharpness) - composition
I’ll send you my comments in writing by the same method that you submitted your images (e-mail or US mail).
The cost of one photo critique (4 images) is $35, payable by check or Paypla. Upon receipt of your payment and images, I’ll get started on your critique.
